Frank L. DeMarco, 80, a lifelong resident of Marlboro, NY peacefully entered into rest on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at home with his family at his side. Frank was born on June 5, 1942 in Newburgh, NY. He was the son of the late Frank E. and Rose (DallVechia) DeMarco. Frank worked for nearly 30 years at IBM in East Fishkill where he directed travel operations, and served in management. Frank also worked as a local 825 operating engineer for Tilcon / New York Trap Rock for 10 years where he represented the 4th of 6 generations who continue to work there. He also served as a Town of Marlboro Police officer. Frank was a US Army Vietnam Veteran, stationed in Hawaii from 1962-1965. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Grace (Rodo) DeMarco, his three sons, Frank J. DeMarco and his wife Maureen, Michael DeMarco and his wife Dottie, Robert DeMarco and his wife Lisa, all of Marlboro, NY. Frank leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Frank and his wife Gina, Taylor and her fiance Kody, Paige, Megan, Michael, Jackson, and Brayden DeMarco, along with his sister-in-law Marie, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his infant sister, Shirley Ann DeMarco. Frank was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Family came before anything else, and anyone who ever met him knew it. He was so proud of the accomplishments of his loved ones, and anyone that spent any time with Frank knew he was a genuine, kind, and loving person. He had the ability to make conversation and connections with everyone he met. In retirement, Frank enjoyed nothing more than mowing the lawns of the DeMarco family, a good cigar, sunshine, and dinner with the family. We will fondly remember him saying, "What more could I ask for?" In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude would have a special meaning to Frank who spent so much time helping his grandson Michael, become a cancer survivor.
