Bryan Patrick Hartwell "B-Train" Bryan Hartwell of Marlboro, NY passed away suddenly at home at the age of 65 on August 3rd 2022. He was born to Elise Busque Hartwell on June 25th 1957 in Manhattan NY. Bryan was a union carpenter that always worked with his hands. From odd jobs, to helping friends remodel their homes, to helping build One World Trade Center. He has worked up and down the eastern coast. Bryan has helped his union Local 157 and their members to improve working conditions and pay. He helped protest for fair wages and fought to raise the minimum wage in NYC. Survivors include his sister Diane Hartwell of Marlboro, NY, his daughter Amy Elise Hartwell (Christopher Noye) of Marlboro, NY, Crystal Heidt (nee Munger) ( Nikolas Heidt) of Middletown, NY, his grandson Anthony Hartwell-Fitzsimmons, and unborn granddaughter Elizabeth Madeline Hartwell-Noye, as well as many cousins and numerous friends. Bryan was a warm soul with the kindest heart. He helped anyone who needed it whether it was friends, family, strangers or animals. He enjoyed being outside, walking leisurely thru NYC, catching a concert, or meeting up with friends at local bars for a Pepsi with no ice. He had the best sense of humor, always making jokes. He loved telling cheesy dad jokes. He had the most memorable laugh. He loved all types of music from classical to heavy metal and screamo. He also enjoyed a nice night at home playing with his grandson or listening to his daughter talk his ear off. He loved animals, he helped them whenever he could and had a soft spot for strays. He enjoyed a good history book to read, watching TV or just puttering around the house. He will always and forever be missed. In lieu of flowers , please donate if you can, to any animal shelter In Bryan's name. Calling hours will be held Thursday, August 11th from 4-7 pm at DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro. A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Friday, August 12th at St Mary's Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro at 10:30AM. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Marlboro.
