Obituary of Edward James Ranken

Edward James Ranken July 18, 1943 / June 16, 2022 passed peacefully at home with his wife of 54 years Teresa Marie Ranken by his side. Edward was born in Yonkers, NY. He was the son of the late John Ranken and Catherine Clancy Ranken. Edward was a United States Marine. Edward is survived by his wife Teresa Marie Ascenzo Ranken of Marlboro, his son Michael Ranken and his fiancé Cheri Lynn Szady and Michael's son Brandon of Modena, his sister Diane Salvator and husband Richard of NJ along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son John J. Ranken. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9am to 11am at The DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro. A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Tuesday morning at 11:30am at St. Mary's Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro. Burial will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
