William Robert Wilklow passed away peacefully on Saturday May 7th, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Hospital. He was 88 years old. Bill was born March 24th,1934 in the town of Newburgh, NY. He was the son of Beulah and Addison Wilklow of Marlboro NY.
He was a gifted high school athlete and after graduating from Marlboro high school in 1952 he was invited to several try outs with professional baseball teams. Bill served our country in the Air Force during the Korean War as a Weather Consultant for special operations. He was a proud member of Local Union 631 and then 363 of the IBEW where he spent more than 40 years as a union electrician. Bill was a past president of the Marlboro Central School Board.
Bill was the loving husband of 69 years to Betsy Lou Wilklow who passed away in October of 2021.
He is survived by his brother Addison, his sons William with his partner Renee and Jay with his partner Kim, his grandchildren Tara and Katie, his sister in-law Donna with her husband Carl, his niece Shari with her husband
Keith, his nephew Addison and many other nieces and nephews. Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was a devoted long time fan of the NY Football Giants, He enjoyed gardening, crafting, watching the Yankees with his wife Betsy and spending time with family. His loving guidance, strength, and leadership to his family will be sadly missed.
