Obituary of Daniel F. Nicoletti

Daniel "Danny" F. Nicoletti of Newburgh, NY passed away at home on Monday, June 28, 2021 after a short illness with his brother and father at his side. He was 61 years old. Danny was born in Newburgh on January 11, 1960. He is the son of Louis "Geno" and Laura "Lolly" Mazzola Nicoletti. Danny worked for over 35 years at Moroney's Harley Davidson of Newburgh. He was a 1979 graduate of Marlboro High School and a member of St. Mary's Church, Marlboro. In the late 70's into the early 80's Danny was an avid motocross racer #157. After his accident he still enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, ATV and snowmobile. Danny rode with his brother and friends in Old Forge and Lake George, NY. He enjoyed his custom "Ford" vans and cars. He loved family trips to Florida. Danny was a big motor sports fan, NASCAR and IMSA. He enjoyed attending live events especially "Roar Before The 24", 24 hours of Daytona and the June NASCAR race at Pocono every year. Survivors include his parents Geno and Lolly Nicoletti of Newburgh, his brother and wife Robby & Terry Nicoletti of Milton, and many cousins. As well as friends Michael, Karen and Nancy topping the long list of great friends. Danny is predeceased by his grandparents Daniel & Teresa Mazzola and Virginia & Fellice Nicoletti. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3pm-6pm at The DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro. Funeral services will take place on Thursday morning at 10:30 here at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh. The family would like to thank all the nurses from their kindness and compassion.
