Lenora "Jane" Cunningham of Marlboro, NY. On July 27th 1927, I was born in Rochester, NY. My parents were Charlotte and Claude Stephens. I had five older brothers and two younger brothers, all who predeceased me. I attended school in both Attica, NY and Beacon, NY. For employment, I worked in several factories, waited tables in different restaurants and also worked as a receptionist at Texaco Research Center in Glenham, NY from where I retired. I really enjoyed my job, but had fun in all my jobs. I lived the majority of my life in Beacon and purchased a mobile home in Florida. I remained a "snowbird" until 2009 when I came back to Marlboro to live in Jenny's Gardens. I have three wonderful children; Lynda Yeaple (Pete), Robert Cunningham and Carl Cunningham (predeceased in 2013). The joys of my life were my children and my grandchildren; Sean Cunningham (Courtney), Kaitlyn Cunningham and Erin Cunningham (Chris). The light of my later life was my great granddaughter Aubree (Bubula). They were the reason I lived so long. I have several nieces, nephews and friends who I enjoyed and loved all my life. They know how important they were in my life. My great nieces and great nephews have kept me going. I can only hope that everyone can experience a life equal to mine. Cheers to all! Jane was predeceased by her husband Frank (married for 52 years). She was active in the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, was an avid bingo player and enjoyed the casinos. She was an avid fan supporting her children and grandchildren with all of their activities. You could hear her offering her support at many local sporting events. She was always willing to try a new adventure like bowling, golf, skiing, bull riding. She had a great life. Memorial donations can be made to Hudson Valley Food Pantry, 195 Hudson Street, Cornwall on Hudson, NY 12520 or any local Veteran Agency. The family would like to thank Hudson Valley Hospice for their wonderful care of Jane. Visitation will be held today, Thursday from 4pm-7pm at The DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30am at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY Funeral arrangements were entrusted to The DiDonato Funeral Service, Inc.
