Monday, June 24, 2019We shared American Style Spaghetti ( a Moloney staple) and many holiday meals. We swapped camping stories and dithered over family photos. We knew Barbara well. She was always a caring, sensitive and generous person who frequently put the needs of others above her own. Nursing and caring for others was a major goal. She loved and adored her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Olivia, and so enjoyed having breakfast with them every school morning. She and Joe would cease their visits to Florida during the school season so as to be there for them. Barbara maintained long friendships and always offered a receptive ear to anyone seeking insight. Her absence creates a gaping hole in the family. However, the memories, the laughter and the vivid recollections of her warm and loving personality will help provide some comfort while easing some of the pain of her absence.

Saturday, June 22, 2019Barbara was the best mother in law in the world She treated me like her son for 20 years She taught me a lot of values in life and was always supportive on my choices. She was the best nana for my two daughters. She dId so much with them from their birth to now. Gave them baths , Took them for walks. Cradled them. Told them night time stories to sleep. She loved them so much. She never missed a dance recital or lacrosse game or track meet or volleyball or cheerleading. Her heart was so big and full of love and joy. She never looked down on others. She found the good in everything I loved that she was part of my family’s life and will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

Saturday, June 22, 2019I had the absolute honor of working with Barbara when she was nursing supervisor at Wingate at Ulster while I was the director of rehab. Years later we reunited every Sunday as my family and I began going to Our Lady of Mercy. She will be greatly missed and my prayers are with her family and friends during this most difficult time. Lizzie- Kirsten especially sends you lots of love and hugs.
