Clarence Curtis formerly of Highland, NY and a longtime resident of Marlboro, NY, passed away on November 12, 2018. Clarence was born July 14, 1929 in Pine Hill, NY. He was the son of the late Clarence Curtis, Sr. and Wilomena Wilson Curtis. He was their only child.
After meeting and marrying Bessie Williams Curtis of Cornwall, NY they became longtime residents of Marlboro where they chose to raise their family. They had 6 children; his sons; William Curtis of Milton, Donald Curtis of Marlboro, John Curtis formerly of New Paltz & currently in Michigan, his daughters; Sandra Curtis formerly of Marlboro and Modena Country Club and currently in Marlboro, Cindy Curtis formerly of Marlboro and currently in Cairo, Candy Curtis formerly of Marlboro and currently of Cornwall and 4 stepchildren, 4 grandchildren; Shannon Cooper formerly of Marlboro and currently of Kingston, Robert Cooper, Jr. of New Paltz, Gabriella Curtis formerly of Marlboro and currently of Modena and Bessie Curtis of Cornwall.
Clarence was a United States Army Veteran. He was a truck driver for Hudson River Fruit Distributors of Milton until his retirement. Clarence enjoyed fishing, hunting, country music & various television shows. He was a believer in God. He was a devout husband, a great father and an even greater grandfather. He was an extremely giving man. He never forgot a birthday or celebration, especially Christmas, his favorite time of the year. He gave generously.

Memorial calling hours will take place on Thursday morning from 10am to 11am at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro.
Memorial funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 11am at the funeral home.
