Maurice "Steve" Cea of Marlboro, NY, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Hyde Park, NY. He was 93. Maurice was born in the Bronx, NY on January 6, 1925. He was the son of the late Rocco Cea and Domenica Castoro.
Steve was a United States Army Veteran serving as a Mechanical Engineer for the Army Air Corp. He was a self employed Drywaller having worked as a foreman at the World Trade Center. A proud veteran he was a member of the Plattekill V.F.W.
Survivors include his domestic partner of 60 years Mary Lloyd of Marlboro and her children; Vicki Alston and Michael Lloyd, his sons; Daniel A. Cea of NY and Christopher Cea of PA, his daughters; Domenica Cea of CT and Ann Jo Cea of NY.
He was predeceased by his sons; Rocco M. Cea and Steven G. Cea.
As a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, he loved for all to pick cherries from his beloved backyard cherry tree. Steve was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Cremation was private.
