Obituary of Rose Casey

Rose Casey, lifelong resident of Marlboro, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 after a rich and full life. Born on November 18, 1926, Rose leaves behind a legacy of love.

Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Walter Casey and their infant son, Joseph Michael; her parents Joseph and Anna Canosa; and her brothers Joseph, Marshall, Michael, and Robert. Rose leaves behind her sons and their families; George Jr. and wife Marilyn, Kevin and wife Kellie, John and wife Anne, Mark and wife Dana, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

When her family and friends recall Rose, they will remember her as one of the strongest, most inspirational women they knew. Her happiest times were spent with her cherished family and friends. Her family will remember holidays and Sunday dinners at Mimi's and her joy as she followed sporting events and activities of those she loved. Rose enjoyed bowling, watching baseball, taking senior trips as a member of the Marlboro Milton Senior Citizens, and , most of all, life.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Sunday, September 2nd from 4:00pm-8:00pm at DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W in Marlboro.

A mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:30am on Monday, September 3rd at St. Mary's Church in Marlboro.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Marlboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
