Gail D. Coutant of Marlboro, NY passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Hospital, Poughkeepsie. She was 73. Gail was born in Cornwall, NY on April 30, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Elwood Dayton & Gladys Francis Dayton. She married Samuel E. Coutant.
Gail was a homemaker. She was a volunteer at the Thrift Shop for the A.S.P.C.A. She was a loving grandmother who loved to babysit her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Samuel at home, her son Steven Coutant and his wife Maureen of Marlboro, his daughters Sherry Veneziali and her husband Michael of Pine Bush, Susan Futrell and her husband Richard of Pine Bush, her brother Gary Dayton of Newburgh and sister Carol Stohr of Marlboro,
8 grandchildren; Dina, Emily & Cassie Coutant, Michaela & Taylor Veneziali and Zachary, Konnor & Kyle Futrell and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday from 4pm-7pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro.
Funeral services will follow calling hours on Tuesday evening at 7pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
