Antonina Montaperto age 61 of Marlboro, NY passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at her home in Marlboro, NY surrounded by her family and friends. Antonina was born in Bolognetta, Italy on December 3, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Rosario & Nunzia Maria Sclafani Mini. She married Giuseppe Montaperto who survives her at home.
Survivors include her husband Giuseppe, her son Matteo Montaperto and his wife Jodi of Marlboro,
her daughters; Paola Juras and her husband Bob of Marlboro, Nancy Kirkwood and her husband John of Poughkeepsie, her brother Santo Mini and his wife Angela of Queens, her sisters; Rosalia Benanti and her husband Domenico of Marlboro, Cira D'Agati and her husband Salvatore of Italy, Josephine Varca and her husband Joe of Marlboro, 6 grandchildren; Angelo, Robert, Juliana, Matteo Jr., John Jr., Joseph, her mother in law Paola Montaperto of Marlboro, several nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Calling hours will take place on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro.
A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Saturday morning at 10:30am at St. Mary's-St. James Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro with Father Thomas Dicks officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.
