William A. Boyette, Sr. of Marlboro passed away peacefully at his home with his children and family by his side on Monday, July 10, 2017. He was 73 years old. William was born in Richlands, North Carolina on July 10, 1944. He was the son of the late Lloyd & Edna Lockamy Boyette.
William was a Press Technician for Excelsior Bag Manufacturing in Yonkers, NY for 20 years. He also worked for Triple "R" Industries in Milton, NY for 25 years. He worked numerous other carpentry jobs building homes. He was an avid NY Met fan and car enthusiast. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend to all.
Survivors include his son William A. Boyette, Jr. of Mansfield, Ohio, his daughters; Vicki Boyette and her companion Manny Kopf of Marlboro and Tina Hopler of Canajoharie, NY, his brothers; Peter Boyette, Lloyd Boyette and his wife Rae and Gray Boyette and his wife Emily all of North Carolina, his sisters; Alice and her husband Peter Brown, Linda and her husband Greg Brown and Joyce and her husband Mitchell Williams all of North Carolina, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth DiViesti.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday morning from 11:00am - 12 noon at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro to which family and friends are invited.
