Joseph James Dall Vechia, 69, of Marlboro, NY, passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center Monday, March 23rd, 2020. Born August 2, 1950 in Orange County, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph Anthony Dall Vechia and Jenny Drivas Dall Vechia. Joseph is survived by wife Noreen Troncillito Dall Vechia, daughter Dina Dall Vechia Leduc, son-in-law Raymond Maurice Leduc Jr., son Joseph Thomas Dall Vechia and grandchildren Olivia Leduc, Alex Leduc, Ian Leduc and Ella Leduc. Joseph was also survived by his brother James Dall Vechia and predeceased by his brother John Dall Vechia. Joseph was a retired police officer and former IBM employee but most recently owned his own business as a safety consultant. Joseph had a passion for supporting veterans and was an active member of Rolling Thunder NY Chapter 3 where he enjoyed cooking for their events. Joseph also enjoyed the annual Rolling Thunder trips to visit the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C. He had a soft spot in his heart for rescued pit bulls, going to Yankee games and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially yearly trips to the Jersey shore. Joseph cherished cooking for and hosting Sunday dinners every week for family and friends. He was a generous husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by all of those who loved him. Due to the currently evolving COVID-19 situation, a memorial service will follow at a later date.
