Grace Adele Ferrara, (LaPeruta), 91, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, formally a resident of Marlboro, New York, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, surrounded by her loving daughters.
Grace was born in Bronx, New York, on February 13, 1926, to Louis and Agnes Davis LaPeruta. Grace was married to the love of her life, Antonio P. Ferrara, on December 6, 1947.
Grace was predeceased by her husband, Antonio on April 3, 1965 and her brother Irving Finnegan.
Grace retired from the Marlboro Central School District after 30 years as a cook. Grace loved greeting the children and working with co-workers who all became dear friends.
Grace has been a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Marlboro, New York for more than 65 years.
Survivors include her daughters; Roseanne Lavin and her husband Keith of Raleigh, North Carolina and Toni Nader and her husband Dennis of Kenosha, Wisconsin, five grandchildren, Craig Kurtz and his wife Jennifer, Jaime Kurtz and her fiance' Jarett Swartley, Evan Lavin, Ryan Nader and his wife Amie, Kimberly Yehle and her husband Scott, and five great grandchildren, Mikayla, Hunter, Joshua, Kyle and Skylar, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews of who she loved dearly.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 3 from 4pm-8pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro, NY.
A Catholic Mass will be offered on Monday morning at 10:30am at St. Mary's Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Marlboro.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Carl J. DiDonato, Jr. of the DiDonato Funeral Service, Inc.
