Madora M. Trentch of Marlboro, NY passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 81 years old. Madora was born in Newburgh, NY on December 28, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Richard & Mabel Thompson Ward. She married Howard K. Trentch who predeceased her on December 14, 2016.
Madora was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Newburgh. She loved ceramics and flowers. She and her husband loved gardening and both were excellent cooks.
Survivors include her son Kevin Trentch and his wife Victoria of Marlboro, her brothers; Richard Ward and his wife Joanne of Marlboro, Fred Ward and his wife Dolores of New Paltz and Arthur Ward and his wife Barbara of Youngsville, her sister Anne Valentino of Marlboro, her grandchildren Kurt Trentch, Sarah Trentch, Heather Trentch & Nicole Trentch and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother James Ward and sister Barbara Sexton.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening from 7pm-9pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro.
Calling hours will also be held on Saturday morning at 11am-1pm at the funeral home.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday afternoon at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Ernest Mossl officiating.
Cremation will be private.
